I just watched this fight in Spanish, which I don’t speak, then immediately watched it over in English because I could hardly believe what I’d witnessed.
I dearly hope Baranchyk makes a complete recovery.
Fantastic fight.
Wow!
Although probably as dramatic (because of the harrowing final KO) as a boxing showdown can get and, at the same time, giving all my respect to these two men risking their lives on the ring, I don’t think this is a great fight…
Pretty entertaining but not too well fought. Too many, not completely justified knockdowns (several of them coming from unclear, messy punches and trips), not so good technical level and an absolute disregard for defensive skills (yes this is one of my pet peeves).
Fight of the year candidate? Well this is Covid’s year and everything is possible but compare this with Donaire/Inoue for example. Regards
This was suicide,not boxing !
Too bad Zepeda hit Baranchyk with a cheap punch to the head just before the knockout. Who knows if that mad a difference. Otherwise, a very good fight.
