Glory 9 will take place at Manhattan Center in New York on saturday, June 22, with the first fight taking place at 6 pm EST while the main card at 8 pm. The main event of Glory 9 NY will be the one night Light Heavyweight Tournament featuring eight of the best kickboxers in this weight division: Tyrone Spong (who comes off the spectacular win against Remy Bonjasky, Michael Duut, Filip Verlinden, Steve McKinnon, Brian Collette, Dustin Jacoby, Danyo Ilunga and Mourad Bouzidi.

Amongst the names announced as participants in the Superfights of Glory 9 are: Daniel Ghita (who will face Brice Guidon, after his recent loss against Gokhan Saki), Rico Verhoeven, Errol Zimmerman, Anderson ‘Braddock’ Silva, Joseph Valtellini and more! Check out the Glory 9 fight card!

Dream is alive and will be combined with the GLORY 4 Tokyo Heavyweight Grand Slam kickboxing show that had been scheduled in early December.
The show’s name is: “DREAM 18 and GLORY 4 Tokyo – New Year’s Eve Special“. The fight card is expected soon.
“As a company, we want to create the most spectacular martial arts show Japan has ever seen,” GSI (Glory Sports International, which produces DREAM show) chairman Pierre Andurand said. “After taking over DREAM 18, it just made natural sense to look at the opportunity to revive the traditional New Year’s Eve date and create a mega-show. We looked at the pros and cons, and it was clear that a combined show is the way to go. We are extremely proud and excited to deliver this mega-show to the Japanese fans and to the world at large.”
The GLORY kickboxing event will see a one-night 16-man tournament of heavyweight kickboxers. The winner gets a $400,000 prize. Fighters expected to appear are Semmy Schilt, Daniel Ghita, Remy

Sometimes words speak louder than actions, and this can be the case: a living kickboxing legend will provide a deep reservoir of experience for the three-man commentary team that will be calling the action for fight fans around the world at the GLORY 3 Rome ‘Final 8’ event at the historic PalaLottomatica arena in Rome, Italy on Saturday Nov. 3 (Glory World Series quarterfinals).
Ramon Dekkers blazed a trail for Europeans in the Muay Thai world at a time when it was thought none but native Thais could be successful in the sport and, to this day, if he enters an arena in Thailand, he will receive a standing ovation. Dekkers will provide colour commentary for the event, which will see one 70 kilogram (154 pound) tournament competitor walk away with a tournament grand prize of $300,000.

In addition to the Glory World Series quarterfinals, GLORY 3 Rome fight card will also include two tournament reserve matches to determine replacements should any of the main tournament fighters be injured and unable to progress to the next round.

In the first, Yoshihiro Sato (49-18, 20 KO’s) of Japan will face Dzhabar Askerov (73-28-1, 37 KO’s) of Russia. Sato was narrowly defeated by Shemsi Beqiri in the Final 16 stage of the tournament in Sweden earlier this year while Askerov was eliminated by van Roosmalen after three absolutely furious rounds in which they gave each other hell.
