Saulo Cavalari entered this fight with a pro kickboxing record of 60-5-0 (18 knockouts) and he is ranked as the No.3 super cruiserweight in the world but he lost two out of his last three fights, both against Artem Vakhitov (=Cavalari vs Vakhitov 2 and Vakhitov vs Cavalari 3); between these two bouts he beat Brian Douwes.
His opponent, the former SuperKombat Hw champion Pavel Zhuravlev, has a record of 70-11-1 (26 knockouts) and he entered as the No.6 in the same weight class. Benjamin Adegbuyi entered this fight with a professional kickboxing record of 28-4-0 (16 knockouts) and he is ranked as the No.2 heavyweight in the world. He lost to #1 Hw Rico Verhoeven in 2015 (=Verhoeven vs Adegbuyi 2) but then he has won six consecutive fights beating Hesdy Gerges, Mladen Brestovac and Anderson ‘Braddock’ Silva in his last three (=Adegbuyi vs Silva).
