His opponent was Antonio Pitalua (46-3-0), very dangerous Colombian boxer since he had won by knockout 40 times! In fact at the end of the first round Pitalua surprised Valero with a nice right hook, but “El Inca” Valero in the first 49 seconds of the second round knocked down Pitalua three times and won the fight: twenty-fifth KO out of 25 fighting.
