Review: 2013-08-04, fantastic muay thai fight with three knockdowns and some amazing wild exchanges, but both fighters showed also some beautiful and effective clinch techniques. Unfortunately the final of the fight between Bovy and Chainoi was not as exciting as the whole bout if not it could be a real candidate for Muay Thai Fight of the Year 2013 and could get five stars, but Bovy vs Chainoi still remains a must-see!
Bovy Sor Kor Suhaigym (red trunks) entered this fight with a professional muay thai record of 65-14-2 while Chainoi Worawut (blue trunks) has an official record of 50-10-0. Bovy vs Chainoi was selected as one of the top five bouts in contention for Channel 7 Stadium fight of the year 2013 (award won by Satanfaa Sagami vs Chokpreecha Gor Sagunchuea, fight we rated three stars). 2013 best K-1 MUAY THAI fight – Fahpayab vs Pedsenlek – full fight Video
Review: 2013-02-10, after a tactical opening round, as usual in muay thai, Fahpayab Kwaitonggym (red shorts) and Pedsenlek Rajanont start a real war with both fighters throwing bombs: punches, kicks, elbows. It’s unbelievable how thai fighters can eat powerful shots and still keep coming forward. Even though the pace slows down in the second part of the fight, both second and third rounds are astonishing, candidates for round of the year, and this is enough to be our favorite muay thai Fight of the Year so far, five stars! Unfortunately we don’t know the record of both fighters, we only found Fahpayab’s record, 39-12-0, but it is dated August 13, 2012. Fahpayab vs Pedsenlek was held at Channel 7 Stadium (Bangkok, Thailand). Watch the video!
2012 best K-1 MUAY THAI fight – Kataphet Sor. Suradej vs Sipayak – full fight Video
Review: 2012-09-09, great start from the first round and this is not very common in Thailand, but Kataphet Sor. Suradej (red trunks) seems confident of his powerful kicks. In the second period he continues his demolition work on his opponent, but Sipayak Sithom surprises him with a spectacular high kick at the end of the second round. The fight goes on and in the third round the relentless Kataphet starts with some dangerous elbows, but shortly after, the fight ends…one of the best knockouts of the year, four stars. Kataphet Sor. Suradej entered the fight with a record of 46-14-0 while Sipayak Sithom had a record of 48-14-1. Kataphet vs Sipayak was held at Channel 7 Stadium (Bangkok, Thailand). Watch the video!
2012 best K-1 MUAY THAI fight – Addam Teded99 vs Dokmainguern – full fight Video
Review: 2012-03-11, good start with some explosive kicks, then in the second round a cut over Addam’s left eye, which was caused by a nice elbow thrown by Dokmainguern (red trunks) seem to affect the fight but in the third round Addam Teded99 knocks his opponent down after three astonishing minutes: could be a candidate for Round of the Year. Both bleeding, they continue the battle in the fourth but in the last round the pace slows down: definitely a four-stars fight. Addam vs Dokmainguern was held at Channel 7 Stadium (Bangkok, Thailand) and suggested by “Simon”. Watch the video!
