MMA News – Will we see Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson vs Glover Teixeira?
After having badly battered Fabio Maldonado at UFC 153 in Rio de Janeiro (= Teixeira vs Maldonado), Glover Teixeira called out Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson, but only if the former champion is actually ready and wants to fight: “I don’t care. Like I said, I want to fight who wants to fight, I want to fight Rampage if he comes in, in top shape. I don’t want to fight him if he’s not motivated to fight”.

Video METAMORIS Pro Jiu Jitsu: results and Full fights videos
“Matamoros” (in Spanish) is Moor-slayer and is the name given to the Christians who persecuted Jews and Muslims during the Reconquista of the fifteenth century, but in our case we are speaking about the best Pro Jiu Jitsu practitioners of the world: Metamoris (thanks to JiuJitson for the correction). These superfights have different rules from the common BJJ rules: the time limit is 20 minutes instead of 10 min (as usually in the black belt fights) but the most interesting thing is that it is possible to win only by submission! If there is no submissions (or disqualifications) the fight ends in a tie.
The second event of Metamoris Pro Jiu-Jitsu Invitational, METAMORIS II, is scheduled to take place June 9, 2013 at the Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles, and it is headlined by the main event Shinya Aoki vs Kron Gracie.
