  1. Zuffa/Anchor Bay et al. S*CK. I buy the DVDs when they come out… the Best of each year as well as the occasional other special (Best Knockouts was my last, DAMN!) However, I’m disabled, so unable to attend actual events, and can’t even pay to see them on cable, as I’m barely able to pay for the most basic cable (basic networks + ION, WGN, CSpan, EWTN, TBN, HSN/QVC etc., and PBS — which I watch more than all the others, but from an over-the-air antenna.)
So watching the fights online, for free (at low resolution) is about all I can afford until the end of the year and the “Best of” DVD comes out at WalMart. So why take that joy away from me by pissing on independent websites for putting such videos up for free???
They aren’t making money on it! In fact, Zuffa et al. should be paying THEM for the free advertising! Without it, guys like me (and we are legion) might just lose interest and stop buying the DVDs!
Come on, use your heads. Let these sites show your fights AFTER you’ve put on (and gotten your $Millions from) the orignial pay-per-views… at the websites’ expense, without their making a red cent, and YOU, Zuffa et al, are the direct beneficiaries, because those of us who view them CONTINUE to be fans and BUY YOUR MERCHANDISE (AND encourage others in our lives to do the same through word of mouth — OURS).

    Sincerely,
An ex-fighter… well, 7th-grade JV wrestling… @80lbs! Been watching & praying for something better than “pro” wrestling on TV ever since.
