The 33-year-old lightweight Shane Roller have announced his retirement three days after his loss to Jacob Volkmann at UFC on FX 5.

Finally he accomplished an unanimous decision against John Alessio in July 8, his last success in MMA.
He leaves with a 11-7 record and this words: “Looks like I’m hanging up the gloves for good. It was fun, but time to move on. [It sucks] that it ended like that. Now [starting] the next chapter.”
