Both fighters have fought three times in 2016 losing their last bout: Jacoby has lost to Marcus in May (=Marcus vs Jacoby I) but before he had won over Karl Roberson and Wayne Barrett while Marcus, who was defeated by Jason Wilnis just in September (4-stars fight, Marcus vs Wilnis 2), had won also with Artem Levin (=Levin vs Marcus 3). A very promising fight with a sad finishing. Dustin was doing well connecting two nice kicks that fully destabilized Simon. From there on Simon was more captious being able to connect a good right kick that hit Dustin’s left hand just 1:13 minutes before the end of round 1. It was strong enough to fully disable or may be broke his hand therefore the fight was stopped accordingly. The end of that round was all Simon since Dustin was unable to contest.
