Review: 2014-04-03, pretty good finish but it is not enough to get three stars: Luis Ortiz vs Monte Barrett gets two. The undefeated Luis Ortiz entered this fight with a perfect record of 20-0-0 (17 KOs=85%) and he is ranked as the No.67 heavyweight in the world, he has also an outstanding amateur record of 349 victories and 19 losses but he has never succeeded in winning at the top international level with the Cuban national team.
His opponent, Monte Barrett, has an official record of 35-10-2 (20 knockouts) but he is not ranked as he hasn’t fought since July 5, 2012 when he was defeated by Shane Cameron (=Cameron vs Barrett); he is 42 years old, 7 years older than the Cuban. Ortiz vs Barrett is the main event of the evening. Watch the video and rate this fight!

The crisp, intelligent Ortiz was far too much for the faded Barrett, who is no BHop. Retirement time, Monty, or it’s going to get a lot, lot worse.
These Fox announcers are simply the worst in the business. Boneheads.
