This fight was stopped early and Though Jones won, Sonnen gave him a run for his Money !
To be considered a run for his money, wouldnt he have to be in relative danger during the macth at some point? I mustve missed that part.

BS stoppage. Chael was still defending. These refs s*cked all night and there’s no way that the fight should have been stopped.
Chael was robbed.
But since when Sonnen deserved a title shot…Money is money, do the fight but do a non-title fight. Sonnen is great fighter,i am a fan of his fighting style, but giving him a title shot?!?!?!
What as Sonnen done to deserve this chance? I’m always be a MMA Fan, but no longer an UFC fan…
If the fight didn’t end at that time, the broken toe of Jones would implied a disqualification and we would have a champion that did’t do absolutely nothing to deserve that title…

After Jones last opponent dropped out for injury Dana called every ranked fighter and no one would take the fight on weeks notice. Chael was the only one that would fight but Jones said he wouln’t fight Chael on weeks notice so this UFC and Ultimate Fighter was set up for them.

Yeah to be fair I thought Sonnen was going to pose more of a problem then he did. Just goes to show how good Jon Jones is, he just ran through Sonnen with ease.
