  1. I thought the ref did exactly what he was supposed to do. This is not Boxing, this is MMA. So do not compare it to Boxing refereeing. It is a completely different sport. Good job ref!

  2. The worst thing for me to see as a fan is an early stoppage, especially when its a big / Title fight.

  3. That was a disgrace the ref is supposed to be there for the benefit of the fighters that should of been stopped as soon as he was no longer defending himself ie about 15 strikes before the KO.  Thats how fighters get hurt poor job he should be ashamed

    • youre an idiot… watch daley/Kampmann, that was a legit stoppage.. warren was out on his feet, and was only kept on his feet by the cage.

    • that ref’s performance is up for review. Oh yea and Joe Warren’s team is FURIOUS that the ref didn’t call it waay earlier, like when he turned his back.

  7. Im not a Wareen fan but that was a bad officiating job and on top of that, his damn trainers could have thrown in the towel as well when the ref didnt stop it. Thats on both parties.

  8. If the ref had stopped this while the guy was still on his feet he and everyone else would have complained about an earlier stoppage.  As soon as the guy dropped down the ref stopped it, good stoppage I say.  A ref should be giving a fighter every chance in the world coz you never know – Just look at barry v congo
