Castillo was very aggressive and put a good fight. However, he was out boxed by the boxing quality of Amir who has an excellent and very fast jab.
I would say that Amir’s specialty is the double jab that he used very frequently all over the fight.
His moves on the ring are spectacular and they show like a kind of master precision.
Agreed, impressive prospect in Amir.
Along with the offensive qualities you noted, he showed a rather good shell defense, too, especially later in the fight.
Awesome performance by Imam! I saw flashes of Thomas Hearns especially in the 5th round… Even Paulie seemed envious of his so effective jab! But let’s not forget about his good footwork.
