That knockdown. Wow!!!
Really good fight between two strong punchers with very sound boxing skills also. However, Garcia imposed his superior boxing skills from the very beginning controlling the full fight and getting a very nice knock down. Lipinets has quick hands and did a very good body work but not to avail. The Judges’s cards were quite correct (mainly those with 117-110).
Based on what eye saw Mikey has been exposed, fighters based in the USA at welter will run Ooops, I meant Sprint at the opportunity to fight him now. Lipinets was not supposed to be that damn difficult but Garcia made him look like formidable opponent. I was unimpressed.Oh and lastly, a Busted nose Mikey suffered.
