Donovan George ranked as the No.27 super middleweight in the world, entered the fight with a record of 22-2-1 while Dionisio Miranda had a record of 21-7-2 (Miranda is not ranked as he hasn’t fought since June 11, 2011 when he was defeated by Avtandil Khurtsidze). Don George vs Miranda is the main event of the evening (on the original fight card Don George was expected to face Adonis Stevenson who unfortunately injured his left hand last friday).
