Enterteining fight with a very nice third round for a small category like this one. However, the record and classification of the fighters involved were not relevant
Records don’t make fights, Emanuel Augustus had a terrible record and fought amazingly :)
Agree but not in full since most of the time the previous records could indicate define the curse of action of present fight.
I fully agree with you regarding Emanuel Augustus he was really a very good fighter. Since you remind me about Burton I saw again his fight against M, Ward in 2001 and he was fantastic and one of the best fight I had ever seen. However, there are very few other boxers with bad records like him that are able to fight so well.
You’re right, another name that comes to mind is Darnell Boone, who KOd Stevenson some years ago and only bats for .500. Always a dangerous guy to oppose a young fighter to, his record is full of good boxers.
