Las Vegas. Saturday, November 3. Main event of the inaugural World Series of Fighting Mixed Martial Arts fight card. At the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino hard-hitting heavyweight KO artists Andrei “The Pitbull” Arlovski (17-9-0) of Minsk, Belarus and Devin Cole (20-9-1) of Medford, Ore, will collide. And we aspect a great “bang”.
World Series of Fighting President Ray Sefo said announcing the match: “Both of these heavyweights have delivered some incredibly memorable highlights during their careers and their matchup should be a barnburner.”
The 33-year-old, 6-foot-4, 250 pound Arlovski made his first major statement in the sport of MMA, winning the interim UFC heavyweight championship by forcing rival Tim Sylvia to tap out from a heel hook just 47 seconds into their matchup on Feb. 5, 2005. It was a real “big bang”.
Four months later, Arlovski defended his title, toppling Justin Eilers with an onslaught of punches in the first round (after the fight, it was revealed that Eilers suffered extensive injuries in this match including a badly broken nose, two broken hands and a complete ACL tear).
Arlowski, known for his unusual speed, knockout power, and for his powerful kicks, is also the only man to ever KO Roy Nelson.
His opponent, Devin Cole, 35-year-old, 6-foot-4, 250 pound, has earned

MMA News – People ask for Jones vs Sonnen!!! Is “Bones” rattling? – UFC
The demand for the match that didn’t happen is high, very high. The undisputed light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones vs former middleweight Chael Sonnen is what the fans want.
Dana White, UFC president, said: “If fans continue to ask for it, I would have to make it.”
Jones defended his belt for the fourth time on Saturday, submitting Vitor Belfort in the fourth round of the UFC 152 main event. He won but not dominated. In fact the champ visited the hospital early Sunday to have his
MMA News – UFC 153 main event? Injuries! Ufc 153 Silva vs Bonnar video trailer
UFC 153 takes place October 13 at HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro.
Initially the co-headliners were scheduled to be UFC featherweight champion Jose “Junior” Aldo vs Erik “New Breed” Koch and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson vs Glover Teixeira.
But then began the so-called “injury time”. Curiously Aldo was expected to face Erik Koch on July 21, 2012 at UFC 149. However, Jose Aldo was forced out of the bout because of an injury and the bout was postponed October 13, 2012 at UFC 153. On August 31, it was announced that Koch was forced out of the match with another injury and replaced by Frankie Edgar. Then on September 11, Aldo himself was also forced to pull out of the bout with a foot injury. And the bad luck was only at the beginning!
A few days after Aldo’s forfeit, even the other main event lost a protagonist: Quinton “Rampage” Jackson was forced off the card due to an elbow injury.
UFC president, Dana White, couldn’t believe it. “It was terrible,” White said. “It was the worst day

MMA News – Bad welcome for Jon Jones at light heavyweight title weigh-in – UFC 152
The light heavyweight championship will be the main event at the UFC 152 tonight 22 September (Toronto, Air Canada Center).
At the weigh-in of yesterday the champion Jon “Bones” Jones was booed loudly from the fans. They didn’t seem to have forgiven him for the cancellation of UFC 151, when he decided not to face Chael Sonnen on eight days’ notice.
Despite the fans, Jones kept smiling defiantly and his “brand-new” beard was perfect to concealing him.
On the other hand the challenger Vitor Belfort was cheered and greeted and his name was acclaimed when he stepped on the scale.
“I worked very hard for this fight and
