said on Twitter. Shane Carwin (12-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC) is out of his fight against Roy Nelson (17-7 MMA, 4-3 UFC). They were expected to fight in the main event of the TUF 16 Finale on December 15 at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
White said that Carwin blew out his knee and he has already begun searching a new fighter to face Nelson. Carwin and Nelson coached opposite teams on the current 16th season of “The Ultimate Fighter”.

After a year, Dan Henderson is ready to fight. He was expected to fight Jon Jones at UFC 151 in September, but a knee injury withdrew him from the match, and the entire bout was cancelled.
Now Henderson (29-8 MMA, 6-2 UFC) has announced that he’ll face Lyoto Machida (18-3 MMA, 10-3 UFC) at UFC 156 on Super Bowl weekend, even if there is not an official announcement yet.
After UFC 151 was cancelled Jon ‘Bones’ Jones defeated Vitor Belfort at UFC 152, and then he and Chael Sonnen were named coaches for the 17th season of “The Ultimate Fighter.” Jones and Sonnen then will face at a PPV event on April 27 in Newark, N.J.

Dream is alive and will be combined with the GLORY 4 Tokyo Heavyweight Grand Slam kickboxing show that had been scheduled in early December.
The show’s name is: “DREAM 18 and GLORY 4 Tokyo – New Year’s Eve Special“. The fight card is expected soon.
“As a company, we want to create the most spectacular martial arts show Japan has ever seen,” GSI (Glory Sports International, which produces DREAM show) chairman Pierre Andurand said. “After taking over DREAM 18, it just made natural sense to look at the opportunity to revive the traditional New Year’s Eve date and create a mega-show. We looked at the pros and cons, and it was clear that a combined show is the way to go. We are extremely proud and excited to deliver this mega-show to the Japanese fans and to the world at large.”
