2 Star RatingReview by AllTheBestFights.com: 2018-08-04, some good exchanges between Marcus Browne and Lenin Castillo but it is not enough to get three stars: it gets two.

The undefeated Marcus Browne entered this fight with a perfect record of 21-0-0 (16 KOs=76%) and he is ranked as the No.7 light heavyweight in the world (currently the #1 in this division is Adonis Stevenson). In his last three bouts he has won over Thomas Williams Jr (Browne vs Williams Jr), Sean Monaghan (Browne vs Monaghan) and Francy Ntetu (Marcus Browne vs Francy Ntetu).
His opponent, the former Olympian Lenin Castillo, has a boxing record of 18-1-1 (13 knockouts) and he entered as the No.61 in the same weight class. He was defeated by Joseph Williams last year but then he has beat Eduardo Mercedes, Andy Perez and Aaron Mitchell. Browne vs Castillo is on the undercard of Andre Berto vs Devon Alexander. 1. Marcus has all the athletic qualities and skill. Seems to lack the killer instinct, aggressiveness and will to grit down and exchange when needed. He lacks any semblance of an uppercut, and his will heart courage and chin are all a big question at this stage. He was gonna fight kovalev, i wonder how that would have went after eleider’s performance. Sure castillo is dangerous but he has losses and marcus should have been able to put him away or at least dominate more impressively. He is one of those fighters who either turns up or doesn’t, it seems. When he does he is capable of being terrifying and devastating as we saw in the monaghan and williams jr fights
