  1. Beterbiev is knocking on the door of a World Championship with only 19 rounds experience in 8 fights

    • Yeah! He’s just like Guillermo Rigondeaux (except for the weight!) who had an incredible amateur background: nearly 400 wins, a few world amateur championships and olympic medals. Rigondeaux became world champion after only 7 professional fights.

      • I think Beterbiev could beat Stevenson right now. He may need a few more fights before he takes on Kovalev, though.

        • I agree with you that he could beat him right now.
The problem is (I talked about it on the Stevenson-Bika post) that 4 out of light-hw top10 are training and fighting out of Montreal, Canada.
Beterbiev, Stevenson and Alavarez are with promoter Yvon Michel. Pascal is with promoter Jean Bédard (Interbox). And may I had… Pascal, Beterbiev and Alvarez have the same trainer, Marc Ramsay. They will have to fight one another soon enough.

  2. Excellent knock out and he is a good technical boxer too. Campillo a good left hand boxer with reach advantage could do nothing to control this guy.
