Evangelista ‘Cyborg’ Santos has signed with the Texas-based Legacy Fighting Championship and is scheduled for a February debut.
Santos, a former Strikeforce title challenger, hasn’t fought since September 2011, more than 13 months ago, and this was the principal reason that induced him to change scenary.
It wasn’t a good period for “Cyborg” family: he has lost 4 of the last 6 matches and comes from a TKO (elbows) loss against Jordan Mein and a submission (armbar) by Nick Diaz (= Nick Diaz vs Evangelista Cyborg Santos). His lately most important success was with

BOXING & K-1 News – The triangle: Buakaw, Pacquiao, Manus. Who’s next?
Buakaw Por Pramuk easily dispatched Italy’s Mauro Serra in the Thai Fight super-welterweight quarter finals at Bangkok Thonburi University. The Muay Thai superstar won with an impressive hailstorm of knees and kicks (= Buakaw vs Mauro Serra).
After the match he denied the rumors about the December dream clash with Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao . He stated that his only booked fights are the Thai Fight semi-finals on November 25 and if he wins, the final at Bangkok’s Royal Plaza on December 16.
But another great boxer has challenged Buakaw: Manus Boonjumnong. The Thai boxer, won gold at the 2004 and silver at the 2008 Olympics Games, said he likes Muay Thai after a recent exhibition match in his home province of Ratchaburi and wants to train hard for a successful career in the country’s traditional martial art.
Asked about the possible match between Buakaw and Pacquiao, he ridiculed it: “Who will pay

MMA News – Georges St Pierre is back, and Carlos Condit is waiting for him! UFC 154 pre-fight interview
UFC interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit knows that to be the man, you’ve got to beat the man.
But if that “man” is named Georges St Pierre, everything becomes complicated.
On November 17 in Montreal at UFC 154 GSP will make his return after almost 20 months from his last match against Jake Shields at UFC 129.
On December 7, 2011, it was in fact revealed St-Pierre had sustained an ACL injury to his right knee, forcing him out of the bout with Nick Diaz. Diaz lost to Carlos Condit at UFC 143, in a fight for the UFC Interim Welterweight Championship.
“He’s the best in the world. He’s one of the best the sport has ever seen,” Condit admitted.
But if GSP is “the man”, ‘The Natural Born Killer’ is

MUAY THAI News – Jean-Claude Van Damme vs Somrak Kamsing? Are you serious bro?
This is crazy. Totally crazy. And we know what you think: this can’t happen. This’s bullsh*t. And surely it will not happen. But if it happens…oh my God!
Jean-Claude Van Damme, the actor of Bloodsport, Kickboxer, Double Impact and lately The Expendables 2, could return to fight for real in December 2012 against Somrak Kamsing, former boxing Olympic gold-medalist and muay thai fighter (also known as Somluck Kamsing).
There was a lot of talking about this match, starting from 2010, but this time could be the right time. Obviously there is nothing official, but there are 2 interviews (see the videos) where JCVD talks about his will
