5_stars_allthebestfights Review: 2000-06-17, Oscar De La Hoya had lost the WBC welterweight title against Felix Trinidad in 1999, but the Puerto Rican boxer left the title vacant (since he moved up in weight class to the light middleweight division), thus the “Golden Boy” faced Shane Mosley to get hold of the title. “Sugar” Shane was still undefeated, having a record of 34-0-0, while Oscar De La Hoya entered the fight with a record of 32-1-0. Sontong Skindeeowgym and Kornkeeat Tor Pran are two young muay thai fighters, but they are already very spectacular, a fight with explosive techniques, perhaps too much clinch but the fight ends with a nice ko!. Sontong Skindeeowgym entered the fight with a record of 40-15-0 while Kornkeeat Tor Pran had a record of 44-20-0. Watch the video!

3_stars_allthebestfightsMelvin Guillard vs Evan Dunham (TKO at 2:58, round 1): the main event of Ufc Fight for the troops 2 it was the best fight of the night, Guillard’s hands have been too heavy and fast for Dunham. Melvin has seemed always sure and calm, after some good series of punches he knocks out Dunham definitely with some good knees. Now Guillard wants the belt!

Matt Wiman vs Cole Miller (unanimous decision 29-28, 30-27, 30-27): Wiman dominates from the beginning Cole Miller in a pleasant fight, good rhythm and good performance of the winner but without a ko we can’t give more than 3 stars.

Yves Edwards vs Cody McKenzie (Submission at 4:33, round 2): after a first round tie, in the second McKenzie seems to take the right path but Edwards doesn’t forgive one mistake of Cody and wins with a rear naked choke.
