5_stars_allthebestfights Review: 2002-11-23, after the first fight between Arturo Gatti and Micky Ward, it was immediately organized a second fight between the “Irish” and the “Thunder”, both to give the opportunity for revenge to Gatti and because anyone would want to see again a spectacular fight as the first one. Thus, six months later, here we are are with Arturo Gatti vs Micky Ward 2, which didn’t disappoint the expectations of the fans and was certainly another very exciting fight; this time Gatti managed to overturn the result… Watch the video!

  1. Look at Gatti’s hands: as opposed to Ward, they are always ready to power punch by his sides, while Ward’s hands are always way up so he is ready to block the punches.

OK enough about the technical stuff which I certainly am not qualified to comment lol. My God, how did Ward survive the 3rd? But he came back and punched the snot out of Gatti! (see slomo) Crazy!

In round 5 two blatant low blows in a row by Gatti, Ward doesn’t even seems to notice lol. Sometimes Gatti shows he can go around his opponent brilliantly, hopping like a bunny. Very energetic. I didn’t like the way Gatti stared at Ward in some smug way after the rounds though. Brave fighter you are dominating, but it’s not Mayweather lol

Anyway that’s irrelevant, to give such an incredible to the fans is amazing. The scores were just, but didn’t reflect the toughness of the fight :)
