I had Canelo taking the first half of the fight. Thought Jacobs took the 2nd. I’d have to give Canelo the last though. Good tough fight. I’d watch it again. Jacobs showed me different aspects of his game. Only if he started earlier. Good fight nonetheless.

Good fight, both fighters showed a different level to their boxing game. Only if Jacobs would of started a bit earlier, I also don’t think that him fighting southpaw was effective in any way shape or form. Would love to see Jacobs at 168lbs and would love to see Canelo vs Andrade, the kid is a real good fighter and has been avoided by many fighters for years now.
Good fight and close one but with a more aggressive Canelo who was able to lead in all the rounds during the first part of the match. Jacob just woke up about the 7th round improving his performance from there on but not enough to win the fight. Canelo in the second part intelligently defended himself very well and connected counter punches with precision that most likely caught the attention of the judges. it was noticeable the number of change of stance that Jacob implemented which in fact was an indication that he was in trouble to overcame the Canelo’s attack. Judges cards were correct but in my opinion, the ones with 115-113 reflected better the reality.
