Good scrap…Cotto’s been faded for a great while now. But faded today is not the same as faded when I was growing up & before my time. Congrats on an illustrious career. Cotta was a fan favorite through the yrs bc he was a “man’s” fighter….Courageous & brave & prone to not make excuses…Willing to fight whomever was there to be challenged. But Alas…he fought too many wars consecutively. & 1 in particular that changed the course of his career. Much respect for finding his way back from the hell to which a severe & devastating beating exiles a man…Enjoy your second half champion.
Hear, hear!
Very enjoyable. Smart work by Ali. He might have ended it more than once if he poured it on when he hurt Cotto. But he also rallied after Cotto’s control of the middle of the fight.
Goodbye, Miguel: a great fighter who’ll be missed.
Nice body shots from Cotto
Good fight and no too bad for Cotto because it was a close one but unfortunately, or fortunate for him, shall be his last bout. However, Ali hurt him several times and technically shown to be better boxer with quicker hands.
Cotto did very well on his career but it is about time to say goodbye and enjoy life as better as possible.
I think the most spectacular Cotto fight was when he took on late replacement Ricardo Torres in 2005. I’ll always remember that fight from him. Check it out, it’s worth it :)
