When they mix it up, which isn’t often, this one is entertaining. Rnds 3 and 12 are fun, and the interesting thing is that Kabayel slightly gets the better of those busy, reckless exchanges. What’s interesting about it is that he only puts in two solid rounds of work all night!
The rest of the time, Kabayel runs and Chisora pursues. Del Boy hunts and pecks with jabs and misses wildly with power shots as the German, bicycling as if he’s in a hurry to get to an Angela Merkel speech, sometimes even turns his back to zip away. It’s almost comic. There is an ancient ref wagging a bony finger at his huge sweaty back and Kabayel trying to run with enough of his face showing to avoid a points deduction. The punch line, though, is the scorecards.
