Great action! Perez was a tougher customer than Salido probably expected as he traded power shots in toe-to-toe exchanges. Perez was dominant and even scored a KD in the 3rd with a beautiful right uppercut. Salido used his experience and smothered Perez’ attacks by being more active on the inside. I don’t know if Perez was fully prepare for this fight since he got the call late.
Salido is the kind of fighter who will take a fight even though he is a number 1 contender. He is a real though guy, with probably bad handlers like Emanual Augustus.Anyway, What a fight!
Sometimes we hate him, sometimes we love him, but his fights are almost always the best entertainment of the weekend!
I always like him :)
Always enjoy Salido’s fights. Anyone who calls this man a crude brawler has no clue what they’re talking about. His punch selection in close is a thing of beauty. He finds the openings. And his guard while exchanging is almost always tight. Love his ability to close the distance without smothering his offense and he’s got a nice counter game too. And just watching the pressure he puts on his opponents exhausts me. Next up…Loma!
And I don’t think he fights dirty at all. See his fights with Juanma ( 2 times) Even though he was in Juanma’s nation, no fouls were called…. People who say he is dirty probably like the favorite on the odds better :)
Very first shot landed for Siri in this fight against Perez…….. A LOW BLOW! Now this sets good vibe ;)
Blah blah blah…. It was a CLEAN low blow :)
No One in boxing today can touch the entertainment value of Salido. He has a sh*tty record. He fights anyone anywhere. He has a deceiving record. He is a warrior. ORLANDO SIRI SALIDO!!!!
