Hometown judging strikes again! Although it was a much closer fight than expected (I’m sure to many’s surprise), I just don’t see how the fight could have been scored in favor of the guy who only fought in bursts, all the while getting hammered while standing on the outside of his own range.
Good fight, but I was not impressed by any of these two. Where’s that guy who was telling me last week that Andrade was A-class fighter? I still believe he’s quite ordinary, really.
I thought that it was a second rate two star fight, they both fought in bursts without any apparent game plan. Andrade is a round house puncher without any momentum behind his punches. I would think that he would have made a good amateur but is obviously wanting and will be exposed in the professional ranks. Culcay will no doubt regret that he did’nt step on the gass from the word go.
