Hayes injury lost him the fight. Bellew’s skill didnt win it. and ty so much for showing the fight. great site. will recommend
obviously cant say that the injury wasnt a definitive cause of the knock out, but haye did nothing earlier in the fight to say he would win, his shots were long and slow and bellow was pulling away from them and counter punching. No real care to who would win this fight, main thing with it was the build up of crud talk. But both looked slow and not competitive to be anything but cannon fodder for the top heavyweights. Haye was not impressive in the first 5 rounds. But you gotta give it to haye for continuing and trying.
Well I looked at the result expecting Haye had won.
Saw the Bellew TKO 11th. I laughed and said “I have to watch this.”
Now after watching – I really feel bad for Haye.
Well belew is going to at least make 1 big payday from this.

I never expected Bellew to do anything like he did during the first rounds of the fight! You can all say what you want, but I believe Bellew was heading for the UD even before any injury happened. In fact, reports say Bellew got injured too, that he broke his hand early in the fight. But anyway, Bellew came in very confident, conscious of Haye’s power and fought bravely. And so did Haye after his injury. Both fighters showed true sportsmanship after the fight. Oh! And by the way, UOTY!
This looked more like WWE to me than boxing. Fixed fight for sure.
