Good fight! I remember No10Count, you said Yamanaka should throw more shots to the body. Well, you got served, especially in the 3rd in which he did a lot of dammage targeting Carlson stomach. We saw right after that in the 4th that Carlson’s legs had gotten very heavy. As I already pointed out in another of his fight, to me Yamanaka is a true counterpunch artist. Carlson was no match. Yamanaka’s biggest flaw is that he tends to keep his guard a little low for my own taste, considering his vulnerable jaw.
Oliver – you missed used the phrase “you got served”.
If I said he needed to use body shots and he did, then it would be the opposite of that. You could use the phrase in regards to Carlson’s night.
And agree those straight lefts to the body in the 3rd did do some major damage.
At 34 Yamanaka is at the end of his career.
And I wouldn’t see that his low esk guard is his only flaw – head dead center and his right is of no consequence.
I even think Carlson hurt him more than once in this fight. Something that should never have happened due to Carlson being so inferior.
How the hell are these guys 5’7″-5’10” weighing a 118lbs?
