Vargas climbing the ropes to celebrate? Heh. One man’s confidence is another’s absurdity!
I know some will say fifty or seventy-five percent of Pacquiao is better than none, but with all due respect I’ve seen enough of him. He’s an old grandmaster, still far too much for a simple fighter like Vargas, but it’s getting old watching him need ten rounds to out-point lesser competition.
Dude… Pacquiao hasn’t stopped anyone since 2009 (Cotto at 145lb). He can not stop a real welterweight. What exactly did you think you were going to see?

Vargas is nothing more than a B+ fighter and Pacquiao, even though he’s now 37, much slower, made him look like a B- fighter. If Pacquiao wants to fight one last time, it should be at 140lbs vs Crawford, so nothing can be said after he’s lost against the best man in the division.
I agree, had enough of Pacquiao now. Even his post-fight interview pissed me off “Talk to Bob..I don’t know who I want.” Clearly just fighting for the money, no interest in the sport and has lost his killer instinct. Happy to just shadow box and spar his way to a decision. Also pissed off hearing Roach before fights “Manny is definitely winning by KO…training harder than ever.” Get outta here with that sh*t. Had enough of Floyd and Pac but at least one has retired, the other needs to follow suit.
No doubts that Pacquiao is getting old. He is still a fast boxer but his punching power may be gone with the wind. It is clear he needs to think in retirement since this fight was quite close taking into consideration the opposition he faced of. He may be retiring soon but still trying milking the cow a little bit longer. Jessie did well using his reach advantage during the whole fight and by means of a reasonable jab work. Paquiao won the fight but the judgment was too much in his favor.
