  1. Hugely enjoyable, and a credit to both men. I had it a draw (based on watching a pretty poor video). The wide margin given to Frampton by one judge was a bit shocking.

    • I had it 7-5 Frampton. That video is ugly, at the end frampton looks like a single pixel and Santa Cruz is the other lol. Well, our host takes what they can find.

  2. Agreed – not a close fight.
Frampton did a wonderful job. Out boxed and landed the harder shots.

    I had it 9-3.

    • I had Frampton up 4-2 in the first half, but gave him only two rounds of the second half. Not a score I’d swear by, given the video quality (and a few drinks, haha).

  3. It surprised me that Frampton punches seemed stronger tah Leo’s. A great fight with a lot of technique display being the irishman the most skillfull. Too bad for Santa Cruz who had done a great job in his carreer. Carl Frampton showed a great donminance of the distance, rythm & defense even though he suffered quite a bit in the late rounds, still fighting well in the inside and delivering the greater damage.

  4. Good fight! I had Frampton leading early, Santa Cruz came back with some strong rounds, then they went back and forth later on. I give a close decision to Frampton. I can see a case for a draw, but I can’t really see Leo winning; he didn’t really land the overall harder punches, and although he was busy (as per usual), so was Frampton, who countered quite nicely. But overall a great fight, from two classy fighters. Thx for the post!

  5. Those f*cking judges are idi*ts, f*cking sellouts, it was a very close fight i had santacruz getting the best punches and went forward like a champ, Frampton is a great fighter real slick but missed most of his punches it was the crowd that made the difference, judges should be shieded in cabins so they wont be influence by the crowd. I had it 7 rounds to 5 Santa cruz

  6. I agree to an extent, but the rounds were very close, so tough to score. I had it like you, 7-5. However, the video quality is so bad, at the end frampton is one pixel and Santa Cruz is the other, it doesn’t help our judging lol.
