Well I beg to differ because of the Lawson fight, not sure if you saw it? Bizier looked very strong.. My 10$ that would have made me 45$ is gone forever though :( I did bet that Bizier would make the distance.
You’ve got me there, Matt, as I didn’t see it. My criticism here isn’t so much of the brave Bizier as of match-making. I rate Brook very highly and was annoyed that he wasn’t fighting top P4P competition. Actually, that’s my complaint about most matchups these days and I’m in danger of sounding like a broken record…or broken MP3, lol!
I saw the Lawson fight and actually expected the fight to better than it was.
Brook just showed he is top class.
I really thought Bizier had more chin… In fact, he probably has a great beard, but Brook is simply too strong.
i like brool but it is time for to face real competition ( thurman, garcia, porter, bradley or even algerie) otherwise he won`t be regnize has a great fighter. i am tired of his mismatches

Thurman probably will never fight him. Even then I would bet Brook. Hell I’m still waiting for him to fight Porter.
We will have to see how Spence does again Algieiri to see if Spence might have what it takes.

Thurman will beat porter and has many chances to win brook. I am fed up of those mismatches. I hate when promoters protect their fighters from real competition. We all wanna see ward vs ggg and kovalev vs chickenson. But those promoters are protecting their fighters
He should face the winner of thurman vs porter instead of fighting another b*m. I am so impatient to see how good he is but if he keeps fighting those low level boxers we will never know how good he is.
Who do you think will win between Porter and Thruman? Very interesting match up in my opinion. Both guys are about the same size but with different approaches. I think Thurman is a smarter fighter with superior overall skills. He should win in my opinion. Unless Porter comes out very agressive and Thurman ends up having a hard time handling him… but I have doubts. Anyway, I would rather like to see Brook-Thurman than Brook-Porter II, since the first bout between these two was quite boring.
Being Bizier a good boxer as I know he is he did almost nothing to mine the confidence of Kell and exposed too much himself going upfront without throwing punches at the pace it is required. I’m very disappointed that Kell didn’t fight with Chavez as it was previously scheduled after his recovery. We may would be the witnesses of a quite different result today.
Bizier’s main man Mark Ramsay yelled throughout the 1st and the 2nd round: “Stay with him, stay close to him”. Probably because that worked well for him in his last fight against Lawson. But it seems you can’t get anywhere near a fighter of the caliber of Brook without a double-jab or at least a good feint. Brook is too fast on his legs and with his jab, there’s nothing Bizier could do about it. The way I see it, only an elite level outboxer with fast reflexes could hope to handle a guy like Brook. I really don’t think Chaves is this guy. With all due respect, in my opinion he’s a dirty fighter.
Olivier, you may be right but Chavez is a quite accomplished boxer with a good punching power. He may be looks bad after fighting with Rios where he was as dirty as Rios but without the full support of the referee as Rios had. So I still would like very much to watch the fight to see how good Brook and Chavez are.
Okay! But I can understand Brook’s crew might be reluctant to set a fight against this kind of guy who would possiby clinch, grind, headbutt, etc.
Olivier, I don’t think this is the reason since his fight with Chavez was set after Chavez fought with Rios. Unfortunately Brook got an injury and cancelled the fight so certainly isn’t the case. I saw other fights from Chavez and he didn’t behave bad like he did when fought with Rios who in this occasion was very dirty too inciting the referee to disqualify him which finally happened. With Bradley, Chavez was OK. I guess Brook or his manager give a second thought to this contender and decided that Chavez was too risky.
