What a fight! In the first two rounds, Yamanaka demonstrated how skillful he is, particularly with his counter punches. In the 2nd, there was no knowckdown in my opinion, since Solis was the one who landed the punch! He just lost his balance. But after that, Solis came out of his corner in the third like a raging bull! I mean… just look at his eyes.. And it worked! The second knockdown in this round was an amazing counter punch as well. But then Yamanaka came back strong in the 4th and took control of the action in the ring. After that point, Yamanaka’s superiority in terms of technical skills just became more and more apparent as the fight went on. Strange moment in the 11th when they tangled up against the rope and almost ended up in the crowd. Very good fight overall!
Agreed
Darn good fight. Would watch a remtach.
Yamanaka needs to learn a left to the gut and also a right down hook.
Thriller. What a Champion Yamanaka has been. And Solis is a very, very good fighter. Two really tough defences in a row for Shinsuke.
Very entertaining and full of action fight. In spite of being shorter and fighting against a qualified southpaw Solis put a very good fight getting very nice knock downs. Yamanaka won the fight but get a little bit in trouble because his aggressive opponent that was always going ahead. As usual in Japan the judges score cards were all very favorable for the Japanese.
