De La Hoya is going nowhere fast.. Delgado’s record against fighters whose win/loss ratio is on the positive side is abysmal and De La Hoya did not handle him all that well.
Entertaining fight with a very good timing puncher and flexible boxer.
Diego technically is very sound and moves quite well in the ring. In spite of having connected several power punches with total accuracy he wasn’t able to put Delgado down. Evidently,he isn’t a hard puncher but able to win a fight just for punches accumulation. Delgado was a very though opponent that didn’t stop on his efforts trying hard to get the win.
