Very entertaining, quite even and fast pace fight. It is remarkable the efforts that both boxers did. Tanaka in spite of his reduced experience as a professional was very loose and relaxed producing excellent combinations and very good body punches. Yedras never stop his aggression and was fighting toe to toe with the japonese during the whole fight. I saw also the Japanese winning but for a little margin, no more than 2 to 3 points difference. Some of the scores from the judges involved were quite partial and inaccurate.
In my opinion, Japan isn’t a safe country to go for a fight when a boxer is defending his title. Usually the final result favor the locals unless the foreign boxer can knock down or knock out the local.
