I shouldn’t laugh but that’s the funniest chicken dance I’ve seen since Zab Judah v Kostya Tszyu. Savigne displayed several styles of dance in the space of 10 seconds.
LOL Cambell I did the same thing.
I wonder if he dehydrates way to much causing that glass chin.
Baker needs a good trainer.
Well he got ko’d earlier in his career too. I’d heard people talking up Savigne’s chances of a title shot before this. Jesus, can you imagine if Stevenson or Kovalev landed flush. Savigne would be doing the cha-cha-cha.
I cannot believe Savigne lost the fight being an stronger boxer with a very good and large amateur background. His chin doesn’t help him at all because is too fragile, two loses by knock out
Beautiful reversal from what happened in the first round. I like Baker’s attitude, I’ll keep a look out for what he does next for sure :) 3.5 stars :P
Dehydration? Glass jaw? Punch drunk? I don’t know what to think…
“Cuba has won 32 Olympic boxing gold medals since 1972, more than any other country, which is all the more remarkable given that they boycotted the 1984 and 1988 Olympics.” Yet, their fighters have never been as successful when turning pro. Casamayor, Gamboa and more recently Rigondeaux are/were excellent fighters though.
Mike Tyson said about Savigne: “Nobody wants to face my fighter (Savigne), neither Kovalev nor Stevenson.” Well, Mike, now you see why?
I too laughed.
Chicken polka!
Baker hurt Savigne at the end of the first. Savigne couldn’t recover.
Would suspect dehydration also.
