Review: 2014-10-08, pretty good finish between Andre Dirrell and Nick Brinson but it is not enough to get three stars. The 2004 middleweight bronze medalist Andre Dirrell (he lost in the semifinal against Gennady Golovkin) entered this fight with a pro boxing record of 22-1-0 (15 knockouts) and he is ranked as the No.22 light heavyweight in the world, he suffered his only loss (via split decision) in 2009 when he faced then-undefeated Carl Froch (bout valid for the WBC super-Mw title), since then he won four consecutive fights, the last one against Vladine Biosse (=Dirrell vs Biosse).
His opponent, Nick Brinson, has a record of 16-2-2 (6 knockouts) and he entered as the No.53 middleweight, both his defeats occurred against two unbeaten boxers: he lost to Lennox Allen in 2010 and to Dominic Wade in 2014. Dirrell vs Brinson is on the undercard of Sam Soliman vs Jermain Taylor. Watch the video and rate this fight!
