Review: 2014-07-12, great exchanges in the last part of the fight: Juan Manuel Lopez vs Francisco Vargas gets three stars. Juan Manuel Lopez entered this fight with a pro boxing record of 34-3-0 (31 KOs=91%) and he is ranked as the No.5 super featherweight in the world, he has won world titles in two different weight classes but he lost his last bout against #1 undefeated champion Mikey Garcia last year (=Garcia vs Lopez); he came back to victory in 2014 beating Daniel Ponce De Leon in their rematch (=Lopez vs Ponce De Leon 2).
His opponent, the undefeated Francisco Vargas, has an official record of 19-0-1 (13 knockouts) and he entered as the No.30 in the same weight class, the only man who stopped him in a draw was Byron Gonzalez in 2010; Vargas comes off 16 consecutive wins. Juanma Lopez vs Vargas is valid for the WBO International and NABF super featherweight titles; undercard of Saul Alvarez vs Erislandy Lara. Watch the video and rate this fight!

Official highlights
End of a career.
Least we can hope.
Vargas did quit quite well against a boxer much more stronger than him. It is sad to see how Lopez’s carrier is going down so quick. I guess it will be very difficult for him to recovery from this new defeat.
