Review: 2014-06-21, good fight with an exciting finish: the third fight between Simon Marcus and Joe Schilling gets three stars. The undefeated Simon Marcus entered this fight with a professional kickboxing record of 39-0-1 and he is ranked as the No.1 light heavyweight in the world, the only man who stopped him in a draw was Chidi Njokuani in 2013; he has already fought three times in 2014 beating Li Bei, Israel Adesanya and Vehas TopKing.
His opponent, Joe Schilling, has an official record of 15-6-0 and he entered as the No.3 cruiserweight, he fought three times in 2013 defeating Kengo Shimizu and Artem Levin but then he lost to Wayne Barrett (=Schilling vs Barrett). In both the first and second fights, Marcus beat Schilling; this third fight is the quarter-final of the Glory middleweight championship tournament; undercard of Rico Verhoeven vs Daniel Ghita 2 – Glory 17. It was a great fight! Marcus has donde really well in k1 style (knowing that he is lethal in clinch). My only problem with this fight, is that it wasn’t a draw, Marcus won the first three rounds. Then. in the 4th round he had a point down, and he had to rage for the knockout, there is when the KO happened.

@simpatictron
Marcus was dominated in the first you m*ron. Schilling won the 3rd too. That makes it a draw.
Nah….you are just a fagg*t american….the american judges just did everything in their powers to make joe went to the semi….
wow you are b*tthurt like hell calm down and step away from the keyboard warroir boy
Schilling clearly dominated the first round you angry little tw*t. The 3rd was close but Schilling took it. Then your boy got KTFO in the 4th. Ouch. Eat it and cry. LOLOL
Oh, and I’m not American. FAIL! LOL
Go cry some more about that BEAUTIFUL KAY OHHHHHH! hahahaha
now thats entertainment !
let them fight again .
rubber match they call it , yes ?
Alright, I’d like to throw in my 2 cents as well. This is my breakdown:
1st round I think Joe was pushing the phase and he got that round
2nd round, obviously Simon got that 10 – 8 round
3rd round, I think that was such a scrap and back n forth brawl, it could have been anyone’s game. It is such a close battle I’d hate if it would have ended there. So, I think judges’ decision on giving the 4th round was good
4th round is a no brainer, Joe dropped him fair and square. I don’t think you can really be mad at the fact Simon got a point deduction. I mean … the dude is a veteran pro fighter, and for him to spit a mouth guard 3 times during a fight … he kinda deserves it
He shouldn’t have spat his gum shield out like a coward, should he eh? LOL
What a KO! Better guy won by far.
mmh, ok. Bye
that mick macarthy was on schilling side all the way just watch him!!!
he warn marcus about clinching and not dumm joe
