Review: 2014-06-14, good fight between Demetrius Andrade and Brian Rose: it gets three stars. The undefeated Demetrius Andrade entered this fight with a perfect record of 20-0-0 (13 knockouts) and he is ranked as the No.6 light middleweight in the world (currently the #1 in this division is Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez); Andrade won the Wbo light-Mw title in his last bout beating Vanes Martirosyan.
His opponent, Brian Rose, has an official record of 25-1-1 (7 knockouts) and he entered as the No.12 in the same weight class, he suffered his only defeat in 2010 when he faced Max Maxwell, since then he has won eleven consecutive bouts. Andrade vs Rose is valid for the WBO light middleweight title (Andrade’s first defense), first world-title shot for Rose; undercard of Ruslan Provodnikov vs Chris Algieri. Who the F! voted 3 stars for this fight?
This is the 2nd worse belt defense fight I have ever seen.
Spoiler because its not worth the time to watch.
They stop the fight cause the guy landed – 3 punches in those 7 rounds. Like a deer in head lights he was.
Awful !
