Review: 2014-05-17, pretty good finish between Omar Narvaez and Antonio Garcia but it is not enough to get three stars. Omar Andres Narvaez entered this fight with a professional boxing record of 41-1-2 (22 knockouts) and he is ranked as the No.1 super flyweight in the world, he suffered his only defeat when he faced Nonito Donaire in 2011 (his only fight in the bantamweight division Donaire vs Narvaez), since then he has collected six consecutive wins.
His opponent, Antonio Garcia, has an official record of 13-1-0 (6 knockouts) and he entered as the No.86 in the same weight class, he is just 20 years old (18 years younger than “El Huracan” Narvaez); ‘El Tostado’ Garcia lost his first bout in 2013 when he faced David Carmona for the WBO Youth super-Flw title, after that bout Carmona lost to Omar Narvaez (=Narvaez vs Carmona) while Garcia has fought twice winning the vacant WBO Latino Bw belt against Jonathan Vidal in his last fight. Narvaez vs Garcia is valid for the WBO super flyweight title (first world title shot for Garcia). Watch the video and rate this fight!
