Ilunga Makabu entered this fight with a pro boxing record of 15-1-0 (14 KOs=93%) and he is ranked as the No.10 cruiserweight in the world, he suffered his only defeat at his professional debut in 2008 against Khayeni Hlungwane, so he has 15-fight win streak.
His opponent, Ruben Angel Mino, comes from Argentina and he has a perfect record of 20-0-0 (with 20 KOs=100%!!) but he is 39 years old (13 more than Makabu) and he entered as the No.86 in the same weight class, he started his pro boxing career just on August 2011 and last year he fought 11 times!
