Review: 2014-01-10, fight not so exciting between Lateef Kayode and Jonte Willis: it gets two stars. The undefeated Lateef Kayode ranked as the No.51 heavyweight in the world, entered the fight with a record of 19-0-0 (15 KOs=79%) while Jonte Willis had a record of 9-7-1 (3 knockouts). Kayode vs Willis is on the undercard of Juan Antonio Rodriguez vs Yenifel Vicente. Watch the video!

I don t know why Kayode moved up in weight class to the heavyweight! I don t think he can beat any of the top 10. Freddie Roach said he would be a future champ but I’m not so impressed by the nigerian

He spent the last year getting rid of SOME of his ego, which will work wonders as he continues to be trained by roach. He looked sluggish in this fight. Probably because of the weight on his bones. If he gets back into the game after his year and a half off, he will impress you like he did me 2 years ago.
