Review: 2013-11-30, the fight between Sergey Kovalev and Ismayl Sillakh gets three stars thanks to a great finish. The undefeated Sergey Kovalev (22-0-1, 20 KOs=91%) entered as the No.3 light heavyweight in the world while Ismayl Sillakh (21-1-0, 17 KOs=81%) entered as the No.31. Kovalev vs Sillakh is valid for the WBO light heavyweight title (Kovalev’s first defense); undercard of Adonis Stevenson vs Tony Bellew. Watch the video!

Am not complaining or taking anything any way from Kovalev but watch the 1st Knockdown very carefully ! Kovalev never punched him in the face he rabbit punched him than smashed his wrist / forearm into his face ! is that legal lol

It was the right hand that damaged him & put him down you moron. The left (which part of his forearm grazed Sillakh) just pushed him a little. You don’t floor a guy & make him uneasy on his feet when he stands up by bashing him with your forearm.
The punching power of Kovalev is incredible. He is a boxer that take risks of being hit in order to get the job done like in this case with Sillakh that has also a very good knock out scores indeed. In spite of previous comments he connected the punches very well
Kovalev vs Stevenson…what a great fight to set, i really don’t know who will be the winner
