Review: 2013-11-23, the fight between Giorgio Petrosyan and Andy Ristie was very technical but not so exciting until the finish…astonishing…it gets three stars! Giorgio Petrosyan (76-1-2) entered as the No.1 super welterweight in the world while Andy Ristie (42-3-1) entered as the No.7. Petrosyan vs Ristie is the semifinal of Glory lightweight world championship tournament; undercard of Joe Schilling vs Wayne Barrett – Glory 12. Watch the video!

very strange ending….petrosyan seems dead but the punch was not clean and Giorgio was also winning on points…but probably Ristie is a really powerful guy since it’s not so easy to knock down Petrosyan and Roosmalen in one night!!
anyway…Petrosyan broke his left hand during the fight and this probably has influenced the result. A rematch is compulsory!
UNBELIEVABLE… He knock’s out the #1 and #2 ranked lightweights in the entire world of kickboxing and you talk about a rematch! Utter stupidity and/or no knowledge of a fight can easily explain your response to this. I mean its a monstrosity to even say its not a clean punch LOF*CKINGL since when does a punch have to be clean to KO. besides all of that, a serious question would be, Have you ever hard sparred or been it an actual fight at any time in your life?
so who Ristie has to fight? the #10 or maybe #20? I think Petrosyan deserve a rematch, he was the #1, he was winning the fight until the ko and he fought with a broken hand! Now in the new gif i can see the clean ko-punch, great uppercut!!
anyway…i m not a petrosyan’s fan, i prefer roosmalen or souwer’s style, more aggressive fighters, also Ristie’s style!! I’m not saying Ristie doesn’t deserve to be the champ and the #1, i m just saying i would like to see a rematch against petrosyan, and the italian deserve it.
PS for your last question: i have trained in muay thai, boxing and judo for more than 10 years and sparred daily with WKN european champions and national pro-boxing champion.
LIMBS BREAKING AND BEING INJURED AND FAILING BECAUSE OF THAT, ARE ALL PART AND PARCEL OF THAT FIGHTER NOT HAVING WHAT IT TAKES TO WIN, PHYSIOLOGICALLY OR PSYCHOLOGICALLY, BOTH BOYS WERE BEATEN BY A SUPERIOR HUMAN BEING… CREDIT TO THE TRAINER , FIGHTER AND D.N.A .

Actually, you don’t need to be that aggressive. A rematch is desiderable simply because it would be interesting. We could see if that was a lucky punch or a real superiority. I do desire a rematch, indeed.

Good point, im a Roosmalen fight style fan also, for some reason your post seemed like a troll. Petrosyan should rematch only because he simply doesnt loose. But, to rematch just to win on points would be terrible legacy output. It should stay as is.
