People talking butthe guy he fought is #27 at the weight below this fight. Curtis did what he was supossed to but needs to fight a top 15 then a top 10 and from there we will see where we stand.

This fight is a perfect microcosm for Curtis Stevens career..spectacular knockout against lesser opponents.. sometimes exciting against legitimate fighters. Gabe Rosado is another good example..when they met in BKB, Gabe showed he could knock guys out at 160.. Just look at his fight w/ Bryan Vera. Curtis fought Gabe to a draw, landing some great shots, but taking some in return. I wish I felt otherwise, but I can’t see him ever being a world champ. He’s an audience friendly knockout artist, against the back end of the top ten rankings and below.
