Review: 2009-03-21, the fight between Bernard Dunne and Ricardo Cordoba was one of the best boxing fights of 2009. “Maestrito” Cordoba (34-1-0) had won the WBA World super bantamweight title in 2008 (against Luis Alberto Perez) and this was his first defense; instead for Bernard Dunne (27-1-0), after having been European champion, this was the first chance to win a world title. Dunne was losing the match when in the eleventh round he knocked down Cordoba three times and won by TKO. Watch the video!
