  2. Okay, it was an okay fight. We can clearly see how much MMA has been improving in this short years. Young talented kids coming into the UFC and f*cking up every old school legend.. Shogun,Rampage, machida, now silva.. This guy gustafsson has really really good cardio, and quick hands. good combos too.. but no the next champ. I doubt this kid could handle jones. but then again we only saw the stand up side of gus, it would have been great if silva took him down a couple of times see how good his ground skills are..

  4. nightmare117. you seem like a true keyboard warrior. not that it necessarily matters, but i’ve trained boxing and muay thai for about 10 years and mma and submission wrestling the last 2. i’m also a huge fan that’s been around since the pride days. gustafssons has better accuracy and possess a lot more power in his hands than jones. he’s been boxing since he was 10 years old and for example he beat the swedish boxing champ in his weight class in a boxing fight. jones is a beast of course but his stand up is overrated. it’s too much spinning sh*t to compensate for his lack of hand power and he’s afraid to stay in the pocket. he has never fought anybody who can close the distance and throw straight punches with knockout power like gustafsson. jones best chance i to take alex down and i promise you boring a*s greg jackson will set up some lay’n’pray gameplan.

    • Dude you are so full of sh*t!! first off just because you SAY you trained doesnt mean you know sh*t. Jones has trained for 3 years and dominated legends,,,DOMINATED!! you have no sense of strategy sounds like and you definately dont keep up with stats. Machida has been doing karate since 3 years old f*cktard and jones put him night night..this isnt a toughman contest you idiot people dont stay in the pocket when a barrage of punches are coming in the lane you stupid f*ck..you back up find your range and reset..i bet you lose alot in sparring and probably get made to carry spit buckets…oh and jones standup,,muthaf*cker look at his stats and percentage of thrown and landed hits,,,its in the top 5 right now you b*tch a*s…i hate people introducing themselves as fighters and how many years they done it just so they can sound like they know what they are talking about…read the facts and watch the fights you m*ron!!!

      • yo djpluse or w/e the only jacka*s on this page is you. You obviously dont know sh*t about stand up stricking because and amateur can see JONES POSSES NO STAND UP. the guy is great at submissions and wrestler. thats it! he could never knock out lyoto with a punch. but continues to run that why he had to choke the dragon out. i stdy fighting but your right it has nothing to do with it. It about the experience that you see a fighter has. If your so f*ckin smart why dont you check the stat sheets for all of jones fight and tell me has he ever been in a fight were he landed more punches???? I DONT THINK SO

  6. Momme Jawad.. what fight where you watching? Gustafsson is the next champ, Jon Jones won’t be able to handle his speed and crisp boxing.
