2_stars_boxing_ranking_allthebestfightsReview: 2012-03-24, the bout between Carlos Molina and James Kirkland has not been a particularly good fight but the disqualification is ridicolous (end of tenth round): two stars. Carlos Molina (19-4-2) entered as the No.4 light middleweight in the world while James Kirkland (30-1-0) entered as the No.5. Molina vs Kirkland is valid as WBC Light Middleweight Semi-Final Eliminator; undercard of Erik Morales vs Danny Garcia. Watch the video!

  1. The referee should be immediately suspended because his very wrong decision.
Molina was clearly winning the fight but it looks to me that this situation cannot be allowed because Kirkland’s luster could be badly damaged.
On the other hand, the vocabulary used by Ann Wolfe (Kirkland’s trainer) during the resting periods was quite offensive and should be not tolerate for the benefit of this sport. People like her made me think that for boxing there isn’t   future.
